SCOTLAND'S PREMIER 5K RACE
Welcome, to Flat 'N Fast
Stride originated from the idea of providing a unique 5km racing experience in Scotland.
This led us to the newly opened West Lothian Cycle Circuit, situated on the grounds of Xcite Leisure Centre, Linlithgow.
The course is made up of a 960m enclosed tarmacked loop, perfect for fast times.
Our inaugural Flat 'N Fast 5k took place on 22/09/2023 where a staggering 91 athletes ran personal best times and 118 ran seasons bests.

FLAT 'N FAST 3
Central Athletic Club’s Morag Millar destroyed the women’s course record at Flat ‘N Fast 3 to storm to victory at the West Lothian Cycle Circuit in Linlithgow. A year on from the first Elite Men’s Flat ‘N Fast race ending in dramatic fashion, the same happened again with four athletes sprinting down the home straight in search of the crown, which would go to Cambuslang Harriers’ Andrew McGill.

Our first ever event!
FLAT 'N FAST
Inverclyde Athletic Club’s Ben Potrykus and Edinburgh University’s Niamh Carr made history at West Lothian Cycle Circuit in Linlithgow, becoming the first winners of the Flat ‘N Fast 5K. Over 160 athletes took the gun, with 91 personal bests and 118 season’s bests being recorded at Stride Athletics’ inaugural race.
